War between NATO and Russia is imminent according to secret German Armed Forces document

A major armed conflict between NATO and Russia is imminent if a secret document from the German Armed Forces is to be believed, with Russia invading NATO’s Baltic states as early as July.

The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) are preparing for a potential hybrid attack by Russia on NATO’s eastern flank this February, reported Bild.

An escalation between NATO and Russia is expected as early as February, a Bild source said, referencing a secret Bundeswehr document.

The confidential document details how a conflict between Russia and NATO might arise, with events unfolding month by month. The culmination involves deployment of hundreds of thousands of NATO soldiers and the start of war in the summer of 2025.

The Bild story builds a scenario for war that focuses on security and avoids specifics regarding the number and movement of NATO troops. The Bundeswehr’s “Defense Alliance 2023” scenario predicts that Russian mobilization will begin in February 2024, followed by a Spring offensive in Ukraine and an attack on the Baltic countries in July. Cyberattacks and other forms of hybrid warfare are expected.

Tensions could peak in October with Russia moving troops and missiles to Kaliningrad (a Russian exclave in Poland — ed.).

“Border conflicts” and “unrests with numerous casualties” are possible in the “Suwalki corridor” (the small corridor between Belarus and Kaliningrad that lies along the Polish-Lithuanian border — ed.) in December. 2024.  Russia could repeat its 2014 invasion of Ukraine on NATO territory with Belarusian support, after the U.S. elections, when the United States might become leaderless.

The scenario ends 30 days after “D-Day,” when NATO, including the Bundeswehr, deploys significant military forces to the eastern flank. However, whether NATO will be able to contain Russia remains an open question in the scenario.

While an interesting article it is unlikely to happen.  However Europe is worried about a second Donald Trump Presendency which could see the end of NATO with America pulling out.  This is more likely as we know that NATO must come to an END according to Bible Prophecy that speaks of Europe and Russia being allied both politically and militarily.  Europe will form a ‘Security Pact’ with Russia.

This EU SUPERSTATE will along with Russia enter into a final conflict with Israel and the Middle East.  Germany is the key country in what Bible Prophecy refers to as the land of “Magog”. They are spoken of militarily as the “King of the North”.  Together the Bible says that Russia and the EU will invade the Middle East in the Last Days.  So Bible Students expect to see Germany and France taking a greater role in leading Europe.  It is also interesting to see Germany taking greater control of a continent they tried to take by war and failed.

Yet again we see in Today’s News Headlines words that show how the Nations are fulfilling the latter-day alignment of Nations as Prophesied by the Bible.

Thousands of Gazans will become, Christian Palestinian Evangelical predicts

An ex-member of the Fatah terrorist organization, who embraced Christianity in the early 1990s, has asserted that a considerable number of Muslims in Gaza are likely to forsake Islam in the aftermath of the Israel-Hamas War, gravitating towards Christianity.

Speaking to Joel Rosenberg on the latest episode of the Rosenberg Report, which aired on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) over the weekend, Taysir “Tass” Abu Saada said that he predicts many Gazans will feel so hopeless, lost and lied to by Hamas after the war that they will abandon Islam and Hamas’s extremism for the teachings of the Bible.

“Hamas is an ideology that is spread among many people, not only in the Gaza Strip but all over the world,” Saada told Rosenberg. “However, God has a plan. And I believe the Arabs’ and the Jews’ plan is also part of that, and that is where my hope is.

“That is why I am back in the Holy Land, to move to the Gaza Strip and take part in rebuilding,” Saada continued. “I believe with all the destruction, with all that happened, with the hardship the Palestinians have gone through, they cannot sit back but will ask, ‘Why?’

“God is going to do a lot of work,” in Gaza, he said, “and I want to be a part of that.”

‘The harvest is going to be huge’

The Christian convert said that he already has a team on the ground ministering to Gazans during the war, and these individuals are telling him that “the harvest is going to be huge.”

Saada was born in Gaza in 1951, and moved with his family to Saudi Arabia and Qatar at a young age. According to a testimony he provided to jewishroots.net, in the 1970s, he became a follower of Yasser Arafat, eventually running away from his family to join the Fatah terrorist organization.

“After the Six Day War, I felt as if I was having a nervous breakdown, and my hatred just grew and grew,” he said in the testimony. “I did not understand how we could lose so many wars against Israel; we were bigger than Israel in numbers and size, we had more equipment – everything we had was more than they had, but still we lost the wars against them.

“I was thinking that once again, our leaders sold us to the Jews,” he continued. “That was when I decided to go and fight for our land, which I believed was ours.”

His parents would not allow him to leave school, so he ran away. It took several years for his parents to find him. When they did, he was forced to return to Qatar.

A series of violent incidents in the country landed him in legal trouble. Ultimately, Saada was sent to America. He slowly integrated, found an American wife, and eventually met a Christian who helped him convert.

That Christian told him that “if you want to experience the peace of mind that I have, you have to love the Jews,” Saada recalled in his testimony. “I completely froze and asked him how he could even think of such a thing – to love the Jews? He knew I hated them. For me, as for most Arabs, a good Jew was a dead Jew.”

But that night, he and his Christian mentor read the Bible. The next day, Saada felt an urge to pray. “The first people that came to my heart to pray for were the Jewish people,” he told jewishroots.net. “I was praying, ‘Oh, God, bless your people, Israel. God, gather them to the Promised Land.’”

Soon, he learned that his son had converted, too. Ultimately, his wife also found Christianity. Together, they started an Evangelical ministry for Muslims called Hope for Ishmael and a humanitarian organization called Seeds of Hope, which operates in the Middle East.

“What we are seeing today happening is really one of the signs of the end of times because it is not normal, the destruction that is taking place,” Saada said in his interview with Rosenberg. “The evil hand of Hamas is attacking Israelis in a radical, very evil way. Naturally, Israel had to respond and defend itself.”

This is very interesting article and is very correct as God’s Plan does involve both Jew and Arab and all Nations of those who believe in Christ.

Ishmael was the first son of Abraham the father of the Jewish people, but to another women and while God told Abraham to send the boy away so that there would be not conflict with his true promised seed, God also made a promise that Ishmael would become a great people with 13 princes decending from him. 

Genesis 16:15

15 So Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram gave the name Ishmael to the son she had borne. 16 Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore him Ishmael.

Then in Genesis 21 we read that Hagar and Ishmael are Sent Away

⁸ The child grew and was weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast. ⁹ But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham was mocking, ¹⁰ and she said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.”

¹¹ The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son. ¹² But God said to him, “Do not be so distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned. ¹³ I will make the son of the slave into a nation also, because he is your offspring.”

¹⁴ Early the next morning Abraham took some food and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar. He set them on her shoulders and then sent her off with the boy. She went on her way and wandered in the Desert of Beersheba.

¹⁵ When the water in the skin was gone, she put the boy under one of the bushes. ¹⁶ Then she went off and sat down about a bowshot away, for she thought, “I cannot watch the boy die.” And as she sat there, she began to sob.

¹⁷ God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. ¹⁸ Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”

And again we read of Ishmaels decendants being present with Israel when God establishing is Kingdom on Earth under the Rule of Jesus Christ and with Israel as the capital city.

Isaiah 60 which describes Gods Kingdom being set up on earth with Israel as the capital nation.

NEBAIOTH. The eldest son of Ishmael (Gn. 25:13; 28:9; 36:3; 1 Ch. 1:29). His descendants, an Arabian tribe mentioned in conjunction with Kedar in Is. 60:7 (the two are also named together

WHAT ABOUT ISHMAEL AND THE ARABS?

Will God ignore Ishmael? We have referred to the promises made to Ishmael’s descendants: “I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful … I will make of him a great nation” (Genesis 17:20). Much of this has been fulfilled already: the Arabs have been prosperous and become a great multitude, contributing much to world culture. What hope is in store for them in the future?
The position of Arabs in relation to God’s purpose is the same as it is for any other people: if they will acknowledge the God of Israel and the Lord Jesus Christ they will share the joys and blessings of Christ’s kingdom, living alongside the descendants of Isaac and Jacob, helping to rebuild the economy of the area, benefiting from the blossoming of their deserts. Isaiah pictures Arabs and others bringing service and worship into Jerusalem:

“The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and incense, and they shall proclaim the praises of the LORD … And they shall call you, The City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.” (Isaiah 60:6-14)
“In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria … Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria – a blessing in the midst of the land, whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed is Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.” (Isaiah 19:23-25)

Harmony and peace will, at last, come to the whole family of Abraham. The Middle East will be gloriously transformed and become the centre of God’s kingdom upon earth.
But the promises extend more widely than to just the nations of the Middle East. God’s purpose is something personal and vital to every one of us, of whatever nationality, if we wish to be part of the divine plan for the future. Jesus is the Saviour of men and women from every race, language and creed on earth – if they truly believe in him. “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). No-one will be excluded, who changes his life to be a follower of Jesus Christ. God’s plan is a worldwide plan of salvation: remember the promise that through Abraham “all families of the earth” will be blessed. That includes Gentiles and Jews. The Apostle Paul was a converted and baptized Jew and he wrote to baptized Gentiles:

“As many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ … And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:27-29)

Seven years on we need to finally stop blaming Brexit just look at the numbers

In this first of a series of updates on the impact of Brexit, Professor Paul Ormerod argues that Brexit is a convenient scapegoat for the UK’s economic woes, but if we dig into the data we’ll see a different story,

Two quite contradictory messages have been given about Brexit over the past few days or so. First, Makoto Uchida, the chief executive of Nissan, a company originally very critical about the UK’s exit from the EU, pronounced that the impact of Brexit on its UK operations is now negligible. He urged the country to be more optimistic about its prospects. A £2bn upgrade of the firm’s Sunderland plant was announced, confirming the UK as Nissan’s main operational base in Europe. Hot on the heels of Mr Uchida, Ursula von der Leyen, the European Commission President, claimed that her generation of politicians had “goofed up” over Brexit.

One thing we know for certain is that the short-term forecasts put out by the Remain campaign during the referendum were shown to be spectacularly wrong. Following the vote in June 2016, by the end of that year the UK was meant to be in a deep recession and unemployment was going to rise by half a million. In fact, in the second half of 2016 GDP grew at a respectable annual rate of two per cent, and unemployment fell.

But how do we stand now, over seven years after the decision to leave?

The estimates of GDP published by the OECD in Paris tell a revealing story. Between the second quarter of 2016 and the most recent figure for the third quarter of this year, the British economy only grew by 9.1 per cent.

The figure, amounting to not much more than one per cent a year, is disappointing. This is why both Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer have placed the aim of raising the growth of both output and productivity centre stage in their policy objectives.

In Spain, however, growth over the same period was a bit less, at 8.3 per cent. In both France and Italy it was even lower, at 5.5 and 5.3 per cent respectively. Perhaps Germany, the poster country for many Remainers, can alter the story? But no. GDP there rose by just 6.2 per cent.

The manufacturing lobby makes a lot of noise, almost portraying Brexit as a catastrophe for the sector. The positive pronouncements of companies like Nissan do not seem to dampen the relish and enthusiasm with which this narrative is set out.

But it is Germany rather than the UK where manufacturing has performed really badly since Brexit. Again using OECD data, here in the UK output has grown by 7.6 per cent. True, lower than the economy as a whole. But in Germany, manufacturing output is actually six per cent lower than it was in the first half of 2016.

BREXIT was the greatest change to UK politics ever, and Britain has left the EU as determined by Bible Prophecy over 2,500 years ago.  This article is interesting as despite all the nays complaining about things in Britain, the data shows a different and more positive story.

What’s more, Bible Students fully expect to see the UK and the USA come close together with the UK leading the Commonwealth Nations as the KING OF THE SOUTH against the EU and RUSSIA. We will see this develop following BREXIT. Bible Prophecy is very clear on the fact that Britain will be a major global politically leader at the time with Russia and the EU invade the Middle East.  Britain will assume this role following BREXIT along with the Commonwealth Countries (and America who is also of British origin) make up the King of the South (along with Israel, Eqypt and the Gulf Arab Nations) at the time of the end that will move to stop Russia and Europe from invading the Middle East.

God has declared the End from the Beginning and the Bible (God’s Word) revealed that Britain would not be part of the EU when Christ Returns to Earth, and World Events have conspired to ensure that has now happened. But we need to keep watching this development as there is much to see yet as Britain takes her place once more on the World Political Stage.

Earths vital signs have never been worse, scientists warn

“Unfortunately, time is up.”

That’s the bleak warning headlining a concerning new report where climate scientists conclude Earth’s vital signs are now worse than anything humans have seen.

The climate situation is now so bad that life on Earth is imperilled, the scientists said, pointing to 20 of 35 identified planetary vital signs that are teetering at record extremes.

Those red-lining vital signs meant “profoundly distressing scenes of suffering” will unfold on the planet’s population, the report published in Bioscience declared.

One of the paper’s lead scientists predicted “we’re on our way” to a world hallmarked by “unbearable heat and shortages of food and freshwater”.

“Life on planet Earth is under siege,” the report said, while presenting a range of climate and disaster data scientists said showed that “we are now in an uncharted territory”.

The report said for decades scientists had been warning of a future “marked by extreme climatic conditions” because of escalating global temperatures caused by human activities that release greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.

“We are seeing the manifestation of those predictions as an alarming and unprecedented succession of climate records are broken, causing profoundly distressing scenes of suffering to unfold.

“We are entering an unfamiliar domain regarding our climate crisis, a situation no one has ever witnessed firsthand in the history of humanity.”

Data in the report illustrated how many climate records were broken by “enormous margins” in 2023, particularly ocean temperature and sea ice records, scientists said.

The report says Earth’s oceans “have been historically warm” in 2023.

In July, Earth recorded its highest average surface temperature ever; scientists said there was reason to believe it was the highest temperature in the last 100,000 years.

This year there have already been 38 days with global average temperatures more than 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, the report said, and an “extraordinary series” of climate-related records had been broken around the world.

The rapid pace of change had surprised scientists and caused concern about the approach of damaging tipping points “sooner than expected”, the report continued.

God’s Kingdom will be established on this Earth in perfect fulfilment of Bible Prophecy just as the days in which we are living with all their problems is fulfilling Bible Prophecy.  The real question is: WILL YOU BE IN GOD’S KINGDOM or will you be a casualty of these end times.

‘Basic framework’ in place for Israel-Saudi normalization, US says

National Security Council says two sides moving toward historic deal, but ‘complex’ arrangement will require ‘compromise’ by all sides

Israel and Saudi Arabia are moving toward the outline of a historic US-brokered deal to normalize relations, the White House said on Friday.

US President Joe Biden is hoping to transform the Middle East — and score an election-year diplomatic victory — by securing recognition of the Jewish state by Saudi Arabia, the guardian of Islam’s two holiest sites.

“All sides have hammered out, I think, a basic framework for what, you know, what we might be able to drive at,” National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters.

“But, as in any complex arrangement, as this will inevitably be, everybody is going to have to do something. And everybody is going to have to compromise on some things,” Kirby said.

The United States has urged its Middle East allies Israel and Saudi Arabia to normalize diplomatic relations, after Israel normalized ties with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco in 2020. Israel previously forged ties with Egypt and Jordan.

In an address to the United Nations General Assembly on September 22, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel was “at the cusp” of a transformative peace agreement with Saudi Arabia. “Such a peace will go a long way to ending the Arab-Israeli conflict,” said Netanyahu. “It will encourage other Arab states to normalize their relations with Israel. It will enhance the prospects of peace with the Palestinians. It will encourage a broader reconciliation between Judaism and Islam, between Jerusalem and Mecca, between the descendants of Isaac and the descendants of Ishmael.”

This has been an ongoing development since the efforts of former President Donald Trump to bring about Peace in the Middle East.  This is not surprising to Bible Students as we fully expect to see this development based on Bible Prophecy that has foretold the alignment of Nations in the “latter days”.  The Bible describes a King of the North and a King of the South Geo-political Alignment of Nations in the last days prior to the last battle of mankind and the intervention of Christ to established God’s Kingdom on Earth Forever.  We read of this in Daniel Chapter 11:

“And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.”

Israeli Population Rises to 9.795

There are 9,795,000 people living in Israel, a rise of almost 200,000 in the past year, the Central Bureau Statistics said Wednesday, as it released new data to mark the upcoming festival of Rosh Hashanah.

Of those, 7,181,000 are Jewish, or 73 percent, along with 2,065,000 Arabs (21%) and 549,000 members of other minorities (6%).

Of the Jewish population aged 20 and over, 44.2% classified themselves as secular or nonreligious, 21% as traditional but not very observant, 11.7% as traditional and observant, 11.5% as religious and 10.8% as ultra-Orthodox aka Haredi.

The population of Israel is edging toward 10 million and is expected to reach that landmark by the end of 2024, then 15 million by the end of 2048 (100 years after the founding of the State of Israel) and 20 million by the end of 2065.

Since last year, Israel’s population grew by about 194,000 people — a growth rate of 2%.

Around 172,000 babies were born and 66,000 new immigrants arrived, while 48,000 people died.

A Saudi Israel deal could dramatically reshape the Middle East — but don’t expect it anytime soon

Anticipation and rumors are growing about the potential normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel – two of America’s most important allies in the Middle East whose ties have never formally existed. 

Saudi Arabia doesn’t recognize Israel as a state and has refused to do so since the latter’s independence in 1948. But after decades of tension, recent years saw discrete but growing cooperation between the two. 

The shared threat perception of Iran, a longtime common adversary, has brought the two closer together in terms of coordination and intelligence sharing, according to numerous reports and admissions by Israeli officials.

Saudi Arabia has also allowed Israeli airlines to fly over its territory in recent years, and Israel officials reported that Saudi Arabia received help from Israeli cybersecurity firms to fend off certain cyberattacks. The rise of non-state actors and the perceived threat of political Islamists, particularly in the wake of the Arab Spring, also contributed to a sense of shared interests among Gulf states and Israel.

And just on Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that Riyadh is offering to restart its funding of the Palestinian Authority in order to gain its leader Mahmoud Abbas’ support for open relations with Israel.

A deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia could dramatically reshape the geopolitics of the Middle East.

But major barriers remain in the way of official normalization, which is a major goal of the Biden administration’s foreign policy and one his team is trying to achieve during the president’s current term.

One is the issue of Palestinian statehood, and another is the raft of demands that Saudi Arabia has of the U.S., including demands for U.S. security guarantees and support for its own civilian nuclear program. And Israel, currently led by the most right-wing government in its history, is very unlikely to want to meet Saudi demands for concessions to the Palestinians.

This has been an ongoing development since the efforts of former President Donald Trump to bring about Peace in the Middle East.  This is not surprising to Bible Students as we fully expect to see this development based on Bible Prophecy that has foretold the alignment of Nations in the “latter days”.  The Bible describes a King of the North and a King of the South Geo-political Alignment of Nations in the last days prior to the last battle of mankind and the intervention of Christ to established God’s Kingdom on Earth Forever.  We read of this in Daniel Chapter 11:

“And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.”
