God's Plan for You

God's Plan for this World and You

THE view of planet earth, seen from outer space, is very beautiful indeed. Confirmation of this has come from the astronauts who have gazed upon it. The earth is the fairest jewel in God's creation and it is the chosen place in the whole universe where He has promised to reveal His Kingdom in all its glory. That is why it is so beautiful.

The earth, of all the planets in the solar system, is the one that is perfectly suited to all forms of life and the one that orbits at exactly the right distance from the sun to provide comfortable conditions for the human race.

True Bible Teaching

An independent study of the Bible will reveal that the following are key True Bible Teachings:

  1. The Bible is God's word and the only message from him. It is without error, except for copying and translation errors.
  2. There is only one God - the Father. The Holy Spirit is God's power.
  3. Jesus is the Son of God, and a human being, through his mother Mary.
  4. Man is mortal, having no existence when dead.
  5. By living a sinless life, ending with his sacrificial death by crucifixion, Jesus has opened the way of salvation from death.
  6. Belief and baptism are essential steps to salvation.
  7. God raised Jesus from death. Jesus is currently in Heaven, on God's right hand. He will one day return.
  8. When Jesus returns, he will raise his "sleeping" followers from death and grant immortality to the faithful who have tried to live by God's precepts.
  9. His followers will help him to rule, bringing justice, righteousness and peace to the whole world - the Kingdom of God.

WHY IS BIBLE TRUTH SO IMPORTANT?

Bible Truth

THE IMPORTANCE OF BIBLE TRUTH

Is Bible Truth important to your Faith and Salvation ie. will you be saved despite what you believe the bible teaches or does it matter what you believe?

Well the word “truth” appears 237 times in the bible, that alone says it must be important!

Therefore it must be important to understand what “truth” is.

A quick scan of the passages using this word “truth” leave us in no doubt that it is not only important, but vital to our salvation.

John 17:3

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

1 John 5:20

20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

1 Timothy 2:3-4

3For thisis good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Clearly then knowing what is Bible Truth is important and vital, in addition to this we are also warned that some would depart from the “truth”…

1 Timothy 4:1

1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

1 John 4:6

6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

From these passages it is very clear that we need to know the “truth” about God and His Son as it is taught to us in the Bible.  This means we must learn what this is from the Bible itself.

Don't let your HOPE of LIFE ETERNAL rest with someone else eg. your pastor or minister, YOU owe it to yourself and your family to be fully convinced of what it is you believe to be sure it HOLDS something REAL for you.

We have all been warned by God that there would be many false teachers and Jesus himself has told us that "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."  See Matthew 7:14

Sadly when Christ returns to this earth, many will only then realise that they have believed in lies Jeremiah 16:19

"19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit."

Don't let this be you or your family!

BIBLE TRUTH and true faith must be founded on a fully inspired Bible.

The Dinosaur Problem

T Rex Tissue Stumps Evolutionists

T-Rex Soft Tissue Disproves Evolution

Clip from “T.R.U.T.H. About the Dinosaurs” DVD

Is there something wrong when a supposedly 70 million-year-old tyrannosaurus rex dinosaur is found with soft tissue—including blood vessels and even whole cells? This is what a U.S. researcher reported in late March.  Biologist Mary Schweitzer discovered this soft tissue when it was necessary to break a T. rex’s huge thigh bone.

Schweitzer said that the vessels were flexible and some could even be squeezed. After extensive testing, there was confirmation that this T. rex bone even had hemoglobin (red blood cells).

This discovery is unexplained by evolutionary thinking, which suggests that millions and millions of years have passed since this “King of Dinos” met its demise. Schweitzer is puzzled and cannot understand why this bone was not mineralized. “It’s very amazing. It’s utterly shocking, actually, because it flies in the face of everything we understand about how tissues and cells degrade,” she said on MSNBC.

“It’s very amazing. It’s utterly shocking, actually….”

—Dr. Mary Schweitzer

In 1995, Joe Taylor, a professional dinosaur excavator and a biblical creationist, was curious about the hip girdle of another T. rex that was found in 1916. It was found in the same Hell Creek Formation where Schweitzer’s T. rex bone was found. Taylor was amazed that this 65 million-year-old specimen still had the appearance of skin on the sacral vertebrae. He sent a sample to Azusa Pacific College in California and had it scanned with an electron microscope by Professor Mark Armitage, who found that the bone had collagen filaments intact inside the bone. The presence of collagen suggests that this supposedly 65 million year old fossil was not completely fossilized. Armitage states, “It can’t be but a few thousand years old.”

So the Theory of Evolution is just that ‘A Theory’ that has never been proved and evidence like this says it can’t be and isn’t true.

The Holy BibleThe Bible provides us with plain Scriptural Teaching for the True Followers of Christ

The statements on this guide represent what we believe is true Bible teaching. The statements are deliberately challenging, asking every reader to compare his own opinions with the plain teaching of Scripture, examining carefully the Bible passages offered as proof. If, as a result, a change of mind and heart is called for, there will be no doubt that the teaching of the Lord, and the book he trusted, must be followed and not what the churches teach.

Trump Proposes Alliance in Middle East

By  Morocco World News  Published: August 3, 2018

Trump and ME AllianceNEW YORK, NY - AUGUST 15: US President Donald Trump speaks following a meeting on infrastructure at Trump Tower, August 15, 2017 in New York City. By Isabella Wang

Rabat – President Trump has proposed a security and political alliance in the Middle East.

Known formally as the Middle East Strategic Alliance, the proposed alliance would include the six Gulf Arab states—Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates—as well as Egypt and Jordan.

The White House confirmed that they have been working on the prospects of an alliance with “our regional partners now and have been for several months.” The plans arise after President Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia last year, where officials had raised the idea of a security pact.

Sources revealed to Reuters that the administration hopes to discuss the plans for the alliance at a summit, provisionally scheduled for Washington on October 12-13.

The proposed pan-Arab alliance is intended to foster deeper cooperation between the countries on military defense, training, and counter-terrorism and to strengthen economic and diplomatic ties, predicated upon the Sunni Muslim identity of the participating nations.

Antagonistic characterization of Iran

Inherent to the proposed alliance is opposition to Iran.  Some are even calling it the “Arab NATO.” In the easy ring of the disyllabic nickname and the association to the familiar “NATO,” the Trump administration is constructing an analogous narrative in which the alliance would contend against Iran’s looming expansionist powers, likened to that of the Soviet Union.

As a spokesperson from the White House’s National Security Council said, “MESA will serve as a bulwark against Iranian aggression, terrorism, extremism, and will bring stability to the Middle East.”

Such rhetoric has been characteristic of the Trump administration. His foreign policy has depicted Iran as the sole source of instability and conflict in the Middle East.

In his remarks on the Iran strategy on October 13, 2017, Trump outlined that Iran is a “dictatorship” which “remains the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism,” and “proliferates missiles,” and “fueled sectarian violence in Iraq, and vicious civil wars in Yemen and Syria,” holding a “sinister vision for the future.”

Similarly, his 2017 National Security Strategy described Iran as a “dictatorship” and “rogue state” which is “determined to destabilize regions, threaten Americans and our allies and brutalize [its] own people.”

Yet, the administration’s depiction of Iran has hyperbolically inflated the threat of Iran, portraying Iran as a sole catchall catalyst for the instability permeating the Middle East region.

While Iran has certainly sought to limit and undermine US influence in the region, many sources of instability in the Middle East are internal, entrenched in problems of ineffective governance and weak civil society.

This article continues to highlight the evidence of a growing and remarkable New Alliance emerging in the Middle East.  This is not a surprise to Bible Students as it is fully expected that Saudi Arabia along with Egypt and the other southern Arab Nations will support Israel in the latter days making up the King of the South based on Bible Prophecy.

So this current article will one day soon see a Military Alliance develop and with that a movement develop towards PEACE in the Middle East.

According to Bible Prophecy the Biblical King of the South will see an alignment between Egypt with Israel along with the Arab Gulf States who are largely the descendants of Ishmael the son of Abraham by his wife's maid Hagar (Genesis 16:3). The King of the South will oppose aggression from Russia and the EU.  They will be supported by America and Britain.

Yet again we see that current news is portraying movements towards the latter day alignment of Nations as Prophesied by the Bible falling into place before our very eyes.  See this article to learn more about this and the latter day prophecies of the Bible.

Most Germans think Europe can look after itself without help from US finds poll

Donald Trump warned the United States could withdraw its support for Nato

Donald Trump called Germany a 'captive' of Russia ( REUTERS )

A majority of Germans think Europe can defend itself without military support from the United States, a poll has shown.

Only 37 per cent of respondents said they believed Europe depended on US military help, the Forsa poll showed.

It came less than two weeks after Donald Trump said he could withdraw support for Nato if Europe did not share more of what he called an unfair burden on US taxpayers funding the alliance.

The survey found no significant difference between eastern and western German regions, the latter of which have stronger ties to the United States.

In the east, 60 per cent thought Europe did not need Washington, and in the west, 55 per cent.

On 12 July, Mr Trump issued his ultimatum to European all ies, urging the continent to spend more on defence if it wants to continue to receive American protection.

Trump: US commitment to NATO ‘remains very strong’

In a rebuke to the German chancellor, Angela Merkel, the US president also called Germany a “captive” of Moscow because, he said, Berlin supported a Baltic Sea gas pipeline from Russia.

About 84 per cent of respondents said Mr Trump’s comments about Russia controlling Germany were “completely absurd”, according to the poll, which surveyed 1,004 Germans.

Even more – 92 per cent – said they suspected Mr Trump’s motive for making the comments was primarily to promote the sale of US&nbsp ;liquefied gas in Europe and Germany.

Two thirds said they supported the construction of the Nord Stream 2 Baltic Sea pipeline because it would help provide Germany with a more reliable supply of natural gas.

nWell Trump is trying hard to unset the Germans and it now seems they in turn have decided that they don't need America after all.  So where will this thinking lead them?  Will they lead the EU to break away from America and NATO??  The fact is there must be a break down in the past relationship between Europe and America for Europe to move into the sphere of a new relationship with Russia as the Bible Predicts and has done so for over2500yrs in Bible Prophecy that is continuing to be played out in Current World Events.  So yes, yet another article that highlights the issue of the challenge that is facing NATO.  This article highlights yet again the fulfilment of Bible Prophecy spoken 2500 years ago.  The Bible reveals that The EU will become a SUPERSTATE with a dominant FEDERAL GOVERNMENT described in the Bible as a Beast System due to its amalgamation of different countries and peoples into one State with one Voice.  Along with this development we expect to see Russia become more involved in Europe with links to a combined army, yes NATO will come to an end and Russia will end up militarily linked to this EU ARMY.  But Russia will never join the EU as Putin will never give up Russia's sovereignty.

So WATCH this development as it is a sure sign that we are living in the last days before Christ's Return.

This EU SUPERSTATE will along with Russia enter into a final conflict with Israel and the Middle East.  Germany is the key country in what Bible Prophecy refers to as the land of "Magog". The Land of MagogThey are spoken of militarily as the "King of the North".  Together the Bible says that Russia and the EU will invade the Middle East in the Last Days.  So Bible Students expect to see Germany and France taking a greater role in leading Europe.  It is also interesting to see Germany taking greater control of a continent they tried to take by war and failed.

Auf Wiedersehen troops? Trump weighs up options for a potential large scale withdrawal of military from Germany amid growing tensions with Chancellor Angela Merkel

  • Trump and MerkelTrump is said to be weighing options to pull US troops from Germany amid tensions with Chancellor Angela Merkel
  • He also expressed frustrations at NATO allies for insufficient defense spending
  • Some European officials are concerned over possible US troop movements

By JESSICA FINN FOR DAILYMAIL.COM

PUBLISHED: 00:48 AEST, 2 July 2018 | UPDATED: 07:00 AEST, 2 July 2018

The Defense Department is looking at a large scale withdrawal of US troops from Germany after growing tensions between President Donald Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The Washington Post reports that Trump was taken aback by the number of US troops in the country, which is currently around 35,000 and is said to have complained that other countries were not paying enough to NATO.

Some European officials are said to alarmed at the possibility of US troop movements and wonder whether it is merely a negotiating tactic ahead of a NATO summit in Brussels.

Trump is expected to criticize US allies for insufficient defense spending during the summit.

Additionally some US officials have also tried to dissuade Trump from taking action.

The US currently has 35,000 troops in Germany and Trump has repeatedly said he is displeased with NATO allies failing to spend their two per cent GDP on defense

However, US officials, who spoke to the Post said that thus far the exercise is still in the internal exploration phase and no military brass is involved as of yet.

Trump has also frequently vented his frustrations that NATO members are failing to abide by the two per cent GDP defense-spending level and has threatened to pull out of the 29-member alliance on multiple occasions.

The National Security Council said it had not asked for a formal analysis on repositioning troops: 'The Pentagon continuously evaluates US troop deployments,' a statement from the NSC said, according to The Post.

The statement added that the 'analysis exercises' were 'not out of the norm.'

'The Pentagon regularly reviews force posture and performs cost-benefit analyses,' Eric Pahon, a spokesman for the Pentagon, said in a statement.

'This is nothing new. Germany is host to the largest US force presence in Europe, we remain deeply rooted in the common values and strong relationships between our countries. We remain fully committed to our NATO ally and the NATO alliance.'

Despite the statement from the NSC, Trump has said he disagrees with continuing the US's participation in NATO.

'My statement on NATO being obsolete and disproportionately too expensive (and unfair) for the U.S. are now, finally, receiving plaudits,' Trump took to Twitter in 2016.

Tensions between Trump and Chancellor Merkel escalated during the G-7 summit last month.

Trump reportedly threw Starburst candies to Angela Merkel during the summit as the German Chancellor pressured him to sign a joint statement.

Trump initially resisted signing the statement but later agreed, pulling the candies from his suit pocket and saying: 'Here, Angela. Don't say I never give you anything'.

The President later changed his mind a second time, ordering his advisers not to sign the communique during an angry Twitter outburst.

Wow!  Who would have ever believed such a thing as this would happen?  Just 3 years ago America and Europe were a cosy as they had been for the last 50 + years. But now under President Trump things are changing fast.  This is exactly what Bible Students expect to see happen based on Bible Prophecy.  There must be a break down in the past relationship between Europe and America for Europe to move into the sphere of a new relationship with Russia as the Bible Predicts and has done so for over2500yrs in Bible Prophecy that is continuing to be played out in Current World Events.

Is Trump Out To Dismantle NATO?

By TOM RICKS Published:  on June 29, 2018

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, center, speaks with U.S. President Donald Trump, seated at right, during the G7 Leaders Summit in La Malbaie, Quebec, Canada, on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Is Trump out to dismantle NATO

Jesco Denzel/German Federal Government

I am told that he is talking about doing just that—along with the World Trade Organization and European Union.  Axios also recently had a similar story, quoting Trump as saying at the G-7 that, “NATO is as bad as NAFTA.”

If what I am hearing is accurate, that is very worrisome. And also a great victory for one Vladimir Putin.

Arizona State professor Braden Allenby observes that Trump “has, almost without fail, implemented the Russian playbook.  Attack media of target country?  Check.  Attack institutions of target country, especially those involved in security (e.g., FBI)?  Check.  Corruption of local leadership (not just Executive, but a fair number of Republicans in House)?  Check.  Weaken global institutional structures that impede Mr. Putin’s activities, especially in his near abroad?  Check.”

It will be interesting to see what Trump says coming out of his summit meeting with Putin next month. A smart Republican friend of mine predicts that Trump will move to withdraw U.S. forces from Germany and also recognize Putin’s taking of Crimea.

Undercutting NATO also might be the Trump move that makes Mattis resign as Secretary of Defense.

Whether President Trump is doing this knowingly or not, the fact is his language is causing a rift between America and Europe like never before.  And there must be a break down in the past relationship between Europe and America for Europe to move into the sphere of a new relationship with Russia as the Bible Predicts and has done so for over2500yrs in Bible Prophecy that is continuing to be played out in Current World Events. Along with this development we expect to see Russia become more involved in Europe with link s to a combined army, yes NATO will come to an end and Russia will end up militarily linked to this EU ARMY.  But Russia will never join the EU as Putin will never give up Russia's sovereignty.

Putin cements powerful new alliance with Iran and Turkey in challenge to Trump and the West

Iran Turkey and Russia

The three leaders vow to bring a 'lasting ceasefire' to Syria at summit in Ankara

  • Iran's Hassan Rouhani joined President Erdogan and President Putin in Ankara Wednesday for talks on Syria
  • Leaders are attempting to put aside their differences to achieve a 'lasting ceasefire' in the war-torn country
  • Trio form unlikely allies as Iran and Russia back the Syrian regime while Turkey backs Free Syrian Army rebels
  • Partnership is increasingly diminishing western influence in the region, as Trump mulls pulling troops out

By Chris Pleasance for MailOnline and Charlie Faulkner In Ankara For Mailonline and Afp

PUBLISHED: 02:55 AEST, 5 April 2018 | UPDATED: 06:15 AEST, 5 April 2018

The leaders of Russia, Turkey and Iran met in Ankara for talks today as they cemented their unlikely alliance over Syria in a challenge to US and western influence in the region.

President Putin, President Erdogan and President Rouhani vowed to work together to create a 'lasting ceasefire', build a hospital for wounded civilians in Eastern Ghouta, and allow refugees to return home.

But the deepening ties between the trio will be a concern to the US as its ability to influence the future of the country wains and President Trump openly mulls pulling troops out and dropping support for the Kurds.

+9

Russia backs the Syrian government in the civil war (in red) and is joined by Iran and increasingly Turkey, though Turkey also backs rebel groups in the country's north (hash-marked red area) which are pitted against Assad. Meanwhile US influence largely relies on Kurdish groups (top right), though its support has been waning amid protests from Ankara

Russia Influence in ME

Russia and Iran are strategic partners, with Russia providing military and financial support in return for influence over the Middle East. Turkey, meanwhile, had been courting membership of the European Union but in the past few years has drawn closer to Russia. These deepening ties are of concern to Europe because Turkey acts as an important buffer zone for migrants, filters out jihadis attempting to cross the border, and is a NATO member

Iran and Russia have backed the Syrian regime since the start of the civil war, while Turkey has called for Assad to go from power and still backs anti-Assad rebels. However, Erdogan has formed an unlikely partnership with Putin as he attempts to drive armed Kurdish groups from his borders

Since the cold war Russia and Iran have been allies in their opposition to the United States and both are strong military and political backers of Syria.

Now Turkey has joined their efforts to protect Assad because it wants to crush US-backed Kurdish forces massing on its border.

Turkey and Russia have also been drawn together after President Erdogan announced his country would be purchasing Russian arms.

The deal $2.5 billion for the S-400 sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles, signed at the end of last year, came despite Turkey's membership of Nato.

The countries are now cooperating on Syrian peace efforts as well as projects in the defense industry and energy sectors, including $20 billion deal to build Turkey's first nuclear power station, which began construction yesterday.

Russia is Iran's major supplier of arms and last year the two nations signed a $30 billion energy co-operation deal.

Through these deals Russia now finds itself in the position of having influence in Turkey as well as Iran.

Those two countries themselves exert huge influence beyond their borders.

Turkey controls much of the flow of middle eastern refugees into Europe.

It signed a deal with the EU in March 2016 to reduce the number of migrants by agreeing to take back those whose asylum application has failed or who fail to apply for asylum.  If it reversed this deal the political consequences in Europe would be enormous.

Iran has been accused of supplying arms to the Taliban by the government of Afghanistan.

Another SIGN of just how close we are to Christ's Return.  Bible Prophecy has long shown that Turkey will never be a member of the EU and will withdraw from NATO as the Bible reveals that Turkey and Iran will have a close relationship with Russia in the lead up to mans final conflict and the return of Christ.  Ezekiel 38:1-9

The word of the LORD came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face against Gog (chief one ie. the leader), of the land of Magog (Germany and surrounding areas), the chief prince of Meshek (Moscow) and Tubal (Tobolski); prophesy against him 3 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek (Moscow) and Tubal (Tobolski) 4 I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. 5 Persia (Iran), Cush (Ethiopia) and Put (Libya) will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you. The word of the LORD came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him 3 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. 5 Persia (Iran), Cush (Ethiopia) and Put (Libya) will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer (France) with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you. 7 “ ‘Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. 8 After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. 9 You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.

So keep watching this development with Turkey and Iran as they move closer in their ties to Russia. Based on Bible Prophecy Turkey and Iran will both be with Russia and Europe when they invade the Middle East as described in Ezekiel 38.   We fully expect to see Russia become more closely linked to Europe militarily whereby Russia will become a "guard" unto the European Nations according to Ezekiel 38:7.

Does Turkey favour good relations with Moscow over NATO and the EU?

Turkey and Russia2

By Nick Ashdown Published: Apr 02 2018

Turkey’s decision to not join almost 30 western countries in expelling over 150 Russian diplomats last week was yet another indicator of the decline in relations with Ankara’s traditional western allies.

The diplomatic expulsions came after the March 4 attack on former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury, England with the Soviet-made nerve agent Novichok. The United Kingdom blames Russia for the attack, which Moscow denies.

Ankara’s decision wasn’t a surprise, since relations with its western partners are at an all-time low and recent cooperation with Russia has been going well, but experts still note it’s a significant move.

“They prioritized continued good relations with Moscow over even their closest western ally [the UK],” said Aaron Stein, resident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council.

Turkey’s foreign ministry condemned the attack nearly three weeks after it occurred without naming Russia. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan then  told Turkish reporters on March 28 that Turkey wouldn’t expel any Russian diploma ts based on “a claim.”

Since a rapprochement between Ankara and Moscow following Turkey’s downing of a Russian SU-24 bomber near the Turkish-Syrian border in November 2015, the two countries have been coordinating military operations in Syria.

European studies lecturer at King’s College Alexander Clarkson says Turkey is unwilling to jeopardize its goals in Syria by angering Moscow, but Ankara also doesn’t want to set a precedent that could be used by frustrated western countries against Turkey itself.

“Turkish intelligence services and diplomats in Europe are getting very close to crossing the same line that the Russians have done several times in the last couple of years,” Clarkson told Ahval.

“You’re beginning to see the same level of frustration with Turkish diplomats, intelligence services and military among European diplomats that they have had with Russia.”

Turkey’s spy agency MİT has been accused of harassing and spying on Turkish nationalsand politicians in Germany ,  planning assassinations in Europe," recruiting spies in Greece, and even of involvement in homicides in London and Paris.

Clarkson says Turkey’s military operations in Syria are also making its neighbours nervous.

“Turkey is now pursuing what is basically a policy of territorial expansion in Syria,” he said.

“[The Europeans] are sitting there wondering, “If they’re willing to carve out this little mini-empire in Syria, how serious are they when they start threatening islands in the Aegean or Cyprus?”

Turkey and Russia have significant economic relations, having done $21.6 billion in trade last year. The TurkStream project will deliver natural gas from Russia to Turkey via a pipeline under the Black Sea, and Russia will build and operate Turkey’s first nuclear power plant, Akkuyu, in southern Turkey.

Russia is the stronger of the two powers, but Turkey has handled the relationship shrewdly, particularly in Syria.

“As Russia seeks to manage and end the Syrian civil war, they’ve made a number of concessions to Turkey, and are now dependent upon Ankara to essentially manage the opposition,” Stein said.

Russia opened airspace for Turkey ahead of Ankara’s Operation Olive Branch to capture the Afrin canton from US-ally the Democratic Union Party (PYD). Russian forces also recently moved out of Tel Rifaat ahead of Turkey’s allies, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) militant group, entering the city in northwestern Syria.

Atlantic Council non resident senior fellow Dimitar Bechev says Ankara has a coherent strategy in its cooperation with Moscow.

“Engage Russia, avoid conflict, soft balance it where needed, use [the relationship with Russia] to gain leverage vis-à-vis the West. It’s been in the making since the late 1990s, i.e. before Erdoğan or Putin,” Bechev wrote to Ahval in an email.

He says it’s unlikely that Russia will replace NATO and the EU as Turkey’s permanent allies.

“For all the acrimony, the EU is [Turkey’s] dominant economic partner while NATO’s Article 5 is the ultimate insurance policy. But Turkey wants to diversify its alliances as much as possible — without cutting links to the West.”

Moscow also stands to gain from the burgeoning relationship.

“Russia, besides [valuing] the benefits of bilateral relations, values the fact that Turkey often declines to follow Western efforts to challenge Russian interests (Georgia in 2008, Crimea in 2014, Syria, the Skripal case),” wrote Timur Akhmetov, a Turkey-based researcher for the Russian International Affairs Council, in an email to Ahval.

“Another important dimension of this is that Turkey, as a NATO member state, can to some extent influence the weather inside the [NATO] alliance in favour of more dialogue with Russia.”

Turkey’s cooperation with Russia is a major sticking point with its NATO allies.

NATO is perturbed by Ankara’s announcement in December that it had concluded an agreement to purchase two of Russia’s S-400 long-range air and missile defense systems , possibly as a safeguard against another attempted coup.

The S-400 collects data about aircraft in its vicinity, which will include the US-made F-35 fighter jet, 100 of which Turkey is planning on adding to its fleet.

“There’s always concern that the Russians can get access to this internal database and get a leg up on what is supposed to be the frontline fighter for western air forces for the next 50 years. That’s a big deal,” said Stein.

He says the procurement may be for political, rather than economic or defense reasons.

“[Erdoğan] had the option to actually get better deals from both the Europeans and the Americans, and he chose the Russians, who aren’t giving him any technology transfer except token stuff on some ancillary systems, for what I assume to be political reasons to solidify this relationship.”

Stein says the S-400 deal benefits Moscow no matter what happens.

“Turkey’s purchase of the S-400 is absolutely zero-lose for [Russia], even if the deal collapses. They get to drive tensions within the [NATO] alliance and they get to take what had been during the Cold War a staunch anti-Soviet power […] and make it a more neutral one,” he said, referring to Turkey.

Another SIGN of just how close we are to Christ's Return.  Bible Prophecy has long shown that Turkey will never be a member of the EU and will withdraw from NATO as the Bible reveals that Turkey will have a close relationship with Russia in the lead up to mans final conflict and the return of Christ.  So keep watching this development with Turkey as she moves closer in her ties to Russia. Based on Bible Prophecy Turkey will be with Russia and Europe when they invade the Middle East as described in Ezekiel 38.   We fully expect to see Russia become more closely linked to Europe militarily whereby Russia will become a "guard" unto the European Nations according to Ezekiel 38:7.

Also Ezekiel 38:6 says that "Gomer (France), and all his bands; the house of Togarmah (Turkey) of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee."

So somehow Turkey will be involved with Russia and it's Army and the move into the Middle East.

Israel and Saudi Arabia New Odd Couple of Middle East Peace

There's nothing like a common enemy to give long-standing adversaries good reasons to rethink the past and their potential futures in cooperation.

By Madyson H. Posey | Published: 21 Feb 2018 at 11:13 AM

Israel and Saudi Odd couple in Peace

One of former President Barack Obama’s only achievements in his disastrous Middle East policy was to align two rivals together against a common threat. His love affair with Iran left Israel and other allies in the Arab world feeling undermined by the United States. Obama’s nonchalance toward the Iranian threat actually forced countries that had never gotten along to work together.

A great example of this is the informal budding relationship between Israel and Saudi Arabia — two important American allies. Saudi Arabia and Israel have never had diplomatic relations and for years have stood at odds with one another. Now, an emboldened Iran is the common enemy uniting them.

Iranian aggression is threatening the stability and security of the Middle East. Both Saudi Arabia and Israel have experienced this aggression in unique ways. In Yemen, Iran has backed Houthi rebels against the government. This has exacerbated a civil war with devastating effects on the civilian population. The Houthis also have Saudi Arabia in their sights, even firing Iranian-supplied missiles at the capital city Riyadh.

For years, Iran has backed terrorists groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah, which have worsened conflicts with Israel. In the Gaza Strip, Hamas regularly carries out attacks on Israel by using Iranian-funded weaponry. In Lebanon, Hezbollah broadcasts pro-Iranian propaganda, covertly builds underground bunkers under civilian houses, and has amassed an arsenal of rockets and missiles for its next war with Israel.

As a result, two long-standing historical enemies staged a rapprochement in the face of the Iranian threat. Iran is simultaneously a unifying threat. Israel and Saudi Arabia have reportedly shared intelligence, especially about Iran, for several years. Recently, the two are making their cooperation more public.

There has been informal engagement between officials of both countries, too. In 2015, a retired major general from the Saudi armed forces and a former Israeli ambassador shared the stage at the Council on Foreign Relations. The men acknowledged their countries’ relationships with the U.S. and expressed hope that this event would spark further discussion about their mutual problems.

Within the last year, both nations have made small steps toward a positive relationship. In May 2017, President Trump made history when he flew from Riyadh to Tel Aviv — reportedly the first direct flight between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

In November 2017, two former intelligence officials, one from Saudi Arabia and the other from Israel, sat on a panel together to discuss their respective countries’ mutual interests. That same month, during an unprecedented interview with a Saudi news organization, the chief of staff of the Israel Defense Force said that Israel is willing to exchange intelligence about Iran with Saudi Arabia.

One week after the interview, two Saudi officials visited a synagogue in Paris — a move that would have never happened without Riyadh’s approval.

Most recently, Saudi Arabia undid a 70-year ban that prevented flights bound for Israel from using Saudi airspace. The Kingdom  announced that Air India would be able to fly directly to Tel Aviv across Saudi Arabia, making the route for Asia travelers more convenient.

Whether Saudi Arabia will allow Israeli airlines eventually to fly through Saudi airspace remains unknown. But the answer could potentially say something about the direction of their relationship.

The significance of this growing relationship cannot be understated. Saudi Arabia is home to two of the holiest site s in Islam. Sunni nations in particular look to them as the leader of the Muslim world.

Time will tell whether the relationship grows or simply fades into what could have been.

At the same time, many of these nations, including Saudi Arabia, have not recognized Israel’s right to exist. Saudi Arabia’s public cooperation with Israel could inflame both the religious establishment in the region and the so-called Arab Street. The Saudi Arabian government’s willingness to risk its credibility with its people speaks volumes to how dangerous Iran is.

Despite the collaboration between the two countries, we shouldn’t be overly optimistic. The animosity between Israel and Saudi Arabia is rooted in strong historical and religious conflict, and that won’t disappear overnight.

Time will tell whether the relationship grows or simply fades into what could have been. Nevertheless, these recent events are promising.

So this current article will one day soon see a movement develop towards PEACE in the Middle East.

Israeli gas company announces $15B export deal with Egypt

By Josef Federman Associated Press Published: Mon., Feb. 19, 2018, 9:21 a.m.

Israel Egypt Gas DealJERUSALEM – An Israeli energy company on Monday announced a $15 billion deal to supply natural gas to Egypt, in the largest export agreement to date for Israel’s nascent natural gas industry.

Delek Drilling and its U.S. partner, Noble Energy, signed a deal to sell a total of 64 billion cubic meters of gas over a 10-year period to Egyptian company Dolphinus Holdings.

Yossi Abu, chief executive of Delek Drilling, called the deal “great news” for both countries.

He said he expects most of the gas to be used for Egypt’s domestic market, but predicted it could pave the way for wider cooperation and help turn Egypt into an export hub for Israeli gas.

“I think that the main thing is that Egypt is becoming the real gas hub of the region,” he said.

Gary Willingham, Noble Energy’s executive vice president of operations, said “these agreements continue to demonstrate the strength of the regional market for our natural gas in the Eastern Mediterranean,”

Egypt was the first Arab country to make peace with Israel, in 1979, but past economic agreements have been controversial in Egypt, where support for the Palestinians runs high. There was no immediate comment from Egyptian officials.

The gas will be delivered from Israel’s Tamar gas field, which is already operational, and the larger “Leviathan” field, which is set to go online in late 2019. The gas is expected to begin flowing late next year.

Several routes for shipping the gas are under consideration, with an existing pipeline between Jordan and Egypt a strong contender, Abu said. Israel already delivers gas to Jordan.

Israel has been developing natural gas fields off its Mediterranean coast for the past decade. In 2016, Delek and Noble signed Israel’s first export agreement, reaching a $10 billion, 15-year deal to provide 45 billion cubic meters of gas to Jordan.

The gas deals reflect Israel’s shared strategic interests with Jordan and Egypt, both of which are important U.S. allies.

Israel maintains quiet security ties with both countries, particularly Egypt, which is battling an Islamic militant insurgency in its Sinai desert, near the Israeli border.

Israeli Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz called the deal a “very important milestone.”

“It is the first time since the signing of the peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan that there are big, significant, serious export deals between Israel and the Arab world,” he told Army Radio.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed what he called “the historic agreement,” saying it would provide billions of dollars to state coffers as well.

Netanyahu said the deal validated his government’s controversial 2016 agreement with the Delek consortium to develop Israel’s gas fields. Critics, including opposition lawmakers, complained it was skewed in favor of the companies.

“This is a joyous day,” he said.

This is another remarkable Alliance in the Middle East that seems to be having an affect on moderating views and who know's it but even help with the search for 'Peace'.  From other news we have seen about a remarkable New Alliance emerging in the Middle East between Egypt, Israel and the Souther Arab Gulf States this is all pointing to Bible Students expectation that Egypt along with the southern Arab Nations will support Israel in the latter days making up the King of the South based on Bible Prophecy.

So again we can see that there are a number of movements underway with the aim of trying to bring PEACE in the Middle East.

According to Bible Prophecy the Biblical King of the South will see an alignment between Egypt with Israel along with the Arab Gulf States who are largely the descendants of Ishmael the son of Abraham by his wife's maid Hagar (Genesis 16:3). Pentagon fires warning shot to EU over Nato unity

Pentagon fires warning shot to EU over Nato unity The tension is a reminder of past — and still more bitter — disputes

Michael Peel, Katrina Manson and Mehreen Khan in Brussels PUBLISHED: FEBRUARY 15, 2018

NATO vs EUYou could almost feel the wince in the EU institutions just a few kilometres away. Kay Bailey Hutchison, US ambassador to Nato, had issued a warning about the direction of Europe’s plans for growing defence co-operation. From the podium at the western alliance’s headquarters on the outskirts of Brussels, she said EU countries’ co-operation shouldn’t be protectionist, duplicative of NATO work, or distracting from their alliance responsibilities. “In Texas we say: ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it,’” the former senator concluded with a flourish earlier this week. The tension is a reminder of past — and still more bitter — disputes.

Transatlantic discord over European security co-operation rose steeply during George W Bush’s first administration and the run-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. US critics derisively dismissed a post-invasion parley held in Belgium by European powers as the “chocolate summit”.

European officials cast the latest bout of US suspicion as a misunderstanding of what they are trying to do. Far from trying to shutout the US and compete with NATO, the Europeans claim they are responding to longstanding calls by Washington — reinforced by President Donald Trump — to contribute more to the 29-member alliance.

This they say they can do through mechanisms such as the European Defence Fund and Permanent Structured Co-operation (Pesco), whose first 17 projects range from improving military mobility to developing a new infantry fighting vehicle.

US officials are suspicious of being at “cross purposes” with Europe should it seek to redirect forces or capability just as NATO is squaring up to Russia.

But the Pentagon is also trying to square a circle. Mr Trump’s focus on “America First” and his past description of NATO as “obsolete”, alongside his lacklustre endorsement of Article 5 — NATO’s collective defence pact that deems an attack against one as an attack against all — spooked even those in his own administration.

US defence secretary Jim Mattis has spent months travelling the globe, shoring up alliances. He has a delicate balance to strike: in striving to reassure allies jolted by Mr Trump’s apparent disdain for them, he is also urging them to commit to the US, spend more on defence and — implied by his comments about “interoperability” — to buy American.

Yet another article that highlights the issue of duplication and the challenge that an EU ARMY now sets before NATO.

Toget her the Bible says that Russia and the EU will invade the Middle East in the Last Days.  So Bible Students expect to see Germany and France taking a greater role in leading Europe.  It is also interesting to see Germany taking greater control of a continent they tried to take by war and failed.

Yet again we see in Todays News Headlines words that show how the Nations are fulfilling the latter day alignment of Nations as Prophesied by the Bible.

Mike Pence tells Israel’s parliament US Embassy will move to Jerusalem in 2019

Arab politicians in Knesset stage protest against American vice president

US Vice President Mike Pence has told Israel’s parliament that the US embassy in the country will move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem by the end of 2019.

He sparked fresh anger during the visit to when he said it was an honour to be in “Israel’s capital, Jerusalem”. President Donald Trump recognised Jerusalem as the Israeli capital at the end of last year, turning his back on decades of US foreign policy and sparking protests across the region.

The announcement by Mr Pence, who also met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, involves a shorter timeframe than had been previously highlighted by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who said it would likely take “three years” for the move to happen.

“The United States has chosen fact over fiction – and fact is the only true foundation for a just and lasting peace,” Mr Pence said, using similar strength of language to that of Mr Trump when he initially announced the move – language which has drawn international condemnation.

“Jerusalem is Israel’s capital, and as such President Trump has directed the State Department to immediately begin preparations to move the United States embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem,” he said.

“In the weeks ahead, our administration will advance its plan to open the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem — and that United States embassy will open before the end of next year,” he added.

If nothing else President Donald Trump seems determined to follow through on his election promise of moving the U.S.A Embassey from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.  But will this advance the cause of Peace in the Middle East?  As True Bible Students we fully expect to see a measure of peace develop in the Middle East before Christ Returns. At the time of the end when the Battle of Armageddon takes place Israel is described as a land at rest, dwelling in peace.  We read this in Ezekiel 38:11-12

“11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, 12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.”

So from this passage we see that Israel will be a land at rest without "wall s, having neither bars nor gates". Clearly something has yet to change to bring this about as Israel has been building "walls" with "bars and gates" to keep the Palestinians out.  So we need to watch and see what might develop from President Donald Trumps moves to establish peace, he seems very confident that he can do it and given his business deal making background vs his non political background he might be just the one to bring about something new.
